Welcome to Day 12 of the 30 Day On-Site SEO Challenge. Today we’re going to be looking at some helpful WordPress Plugins for SEO.

Although SEO appears to be complicated, it’s not as hard as it may sound. What can really help is using the right plugin. It then becomes less complicated, although it can still be time-consuming. Using a plugin simplifies it. However, it’s recommended that you use just one plugin at a time or things could get tangled, and your SEO won’t be quite as good as it should be.
Yoast SEO
As one of the most popular plugins that WordPress has ever had, the premium version of Yoast does some great things. It can guide you as you create each post, to make your website far more search friendly. It can also help you to submit sitemaps, manage keywords and more.
All in One SEO Pack
Search engine optimisation tactics need to be applied to get traffic from the search engines. However, doing this can be a little confusing. If you want to stay on top of your SEO organisation, this plugin will help you to do so. Just as the name implies, it’s an all-inclusive plugin that will help you to set up your site for best results.
The SEO Framework
This plugin provides wide control over the SEO on your site, and it’s available for free. This plugin will help you with customising your tagline, applying keywords, descriptions, title information and more. Considering that it’s free, it’s quite a powerful plugin, although it’s not as well known or as popular as the other SEO plugins listed here.
JetPack by WordPress.com
This plugin not only creates sitemaps, but it communicates with Google Webmaster Tools and Google Search.
SEO Squirrly
Great for beginners, this SEO plugin is designed for people who are just getting to know about how SEO works. It removes all the technical parts and enables a novice to add the right amount of keywords so that no stuffing occurs. It also provides some outstanding analytics.
WP Meta SEO
Although WordPress is already coded to be search engine friendly, it’s still worth giving this plugin a try. It comes with a very hand dashboard, HTML image resizing, descriptions, permalink structure, meta titles and more.
SEO Post Content Links
Use this plugin to help out with internal linking. The longer visitors stay on your site; the more respect search engines will give you when it comes to ranking. This plugin makes it all easier and automated.
Smush Image Compression and Optimization
The faster your site is, the better. This plugin will compress images to help it to run faster.
In addition to what I’ve listed here, there are other advanced tools that can help. For example, from SEMrush.com, Hubspot.com and several other SEO oriented websites. However, all the SEO related plugins that I’ve listed above all work very well and can give you outstanding results.
