You may have already seen this in action. Those people who habitualise can make it easier to meet their goals. Those who don’t struggle and eventually give up. By habitualising you are also capable of making great strides in achievements.
I love mornings. Starting the day off in the right way is what makes all the difference to me and my success in what I do. If I start the day in the right way, then my entire day is productive and fulfilling. How I spend those first few hours of the day is what makes it possible for me to be successful and to grow and develop in any area that I put my mind to. I am not boasting when I say this, if you do this, you too will be able to achieive what you want.
A mini challenge on the foundation of a productive day
By making small changes to your morning routine, it’s possible to build a strong foundation that will support you in reaching your goals.
I’ve set up a mini challenge to help you to determine how your first few hours should be structured, and then how to structure them. Doing this challenge will make all the difference to both your day and productivity.
How you build it is up to you, I will just show you how to put things into place so that you can make progress on your business, with your education or even find that extra time for some self-care that will keep you resilient and productive.
Set up your 7 day challenge – mornings
I use this time to grab some exercise, meditate and read. If I didn’t insist on starting my day like this, the hours would whizz by without me having achieved some of my own personal goals. By spending a few minutes preparing the night before, I can set myself up for success with my morning.
Creating this mini challenge for mornings has been fun. It’s made me have a good look at my own schedule to check whether it’s still working for me and whether it’s relevant and supportive to my current goals.
The catalyst for doing this was actually a guy called Hal Elrod. I’m fairly interested in journalling and on a journalling Facebook group, I saw Hal’s Miracle Morning mentioned. I’ve used that as a base and changed it to suit my needs. Hal recommends a particular structure, but I’ve trimmed it down.
What we’ll be doing during our 7 day mini challenge is using a simplified version of Hal’s Miracle Morning but in a way that will still get us incredible results when it comes to productivity. If you want to read more about Hal’s version, you can find it here.
